Effortlessly Adding Audio Files to SoundSwitch from DJ Software + iTunes

Now that you've set up your Venue and added your lighting fixtures, it's time to dive into creating an incredible lighting experience that syncs perfectly with your music. Adding audio files to SoundSwitch from your DJ software and iTunes is a breeze. Here's how:

1. Choose Your Audio File: Start by selecting an audio file from your Music Library. To do this, simply double-click on the desired audio file, and it will load into the workspace.

2. Visualizing the Audio: As you load the audio file, you'll notice the waveform appearing at the bottom of the screen, just below the Master Track. This waveform is a visual representation of the music and serves as a reference for creating your lighting effects. Notably, if you've previously analyzed the song in Serato DJ or VDJ 8, SoundSwitch will automatically import the Beatgrid for you, making the process even more seamless.

3. Browsing Local Files: If you want to access audio files stored directly on your computer, you can utilize the "Local Files" entry in the Music Library window. This feature essentially turns your computer into a massive music repository, allowing you to search through files and folders on your device, just like you would with a standard file browser.

4. Drop and Drag: To make things even more convenient, SoundSwitch supports the simple drag-and-drop method. You can directly drag audio files from your computer's file browser and drop them into the SoundSwitch workspace. This quick and intuitive process ensures that your audio files are effortlessly integrated into your lighting setup.
