
My Mixdeck Express won't respond, and the screen is displaying BOOT NUMARK. What should I do?
Under rare circumstances, the Numark Mixdeck Express firmware may require reinstallation. In this case, when powered on, the screen will display BOOT NUMARK, and the unit will not respond or operate normally.
Generally, reinstalling the Mixdeck Express firmware will resolve this symptom.

3. USB Thumb drive Installation
Procedure
1. Press and hold the PROG button on the left deck while powering on the Mixdeck Express. Continue to hold PROG on the left deck until UPGRADE MODE is displayed on the screen. (There is a PROG button on each deck, but this combination only works with the PROG button on the left deck)
2. Load the NC17_022.bin file to the root level of an empty USB thumb drive (root).
3. Insert the USB key to the USB-A port on the upper-left corner of the Mixdeck Express top pane. The display should read <Scanning>.
4. When scanning is complete, and the Mixdeck Express has located the firmware file, the display will read <Ready?>.
5. Press Play to begin the firmware installation.
6. When the installation is complete, the display will read <Finish>.
7. Then, power off the Mixdeck Express, count to 10, and power it back on
