MPC Standalone | My MPC Shows Input Signal But I Can't Hear Anything

If your MPC is showing an incoming signal (you can see the VU meters moving) but you’re not hearing any sound, it usually means the Monitor setting for that channel hasn’t been set yet.

To monitor your incoming audio signal, follow these steps:

1. Press the Menu button.

2. Select Channel Mixer.

3. Tap the I/O tab at the bottom of your display.

4. Set the Monitor field for your track to either Auto or IN.

5. After setting the Monitor field to Auto or IN, go to Menu > Preferences > Audio Device, and make sure the Device is set to Internal.

6. Confirm your speakers are connected to the Main Outputs on the back of your MPC.

7. If you’re using alternative outputs (such as 3/4 or 5/6), make sure these are selected in the Audio Out setting within the I/O tab shown above.

8. If you’re using headphones, ensure they are connected directly to your MPC and use a TRS jack. Headphones with a TRRS jack (typically those with a built-in microphone) can sometimes cause audio issues.
