Native Instruments | Linux compatibility with Native Instruments products
While Native Instruments products are widely used across various production environments, Linux is not a supported operating system for our software or hardware products.
Native Instruments currently provides support and develops products exclusively for the following operating systems:
macOS
Windows
Why is Linux not supported?
At Native Instruments, we conduct systematic tests to ensure the stability and performance of our products within specific system environments. Due to the high diversity of Linux distributions and the specific requirements of professional real-time audio processing, we are currently unable to offer the level of support and guaranteed functionality required for the Linux platform.
Important Note: Installation or use of NI products in an unsupported environment (such as via Wine or other compatibility layers) is done entirely at your own risk.
Checking System Requirements
Before installing a Native Instruments product, we recommend checking the specific System Requirements located on the product's Specifications page on our website.
If your operating system is not explicitly listed, it is not compatible with the respective product.
