In some situations, a Windows PC may put your USB ports into a low-power mode that can affect the connectivity of your M-Game interface and other USB peripherals you have connected to that port. This is especially important if you are using a laptop that may have additional power settings enabled to assist with battery performance. 


In these cases, you may want to consider disabling the power save setting to see if it helps with the connectivity and performance of your M-Game interface. These instructions will apply to Windows 10 and 11.


  1. Go to your Windows Control Panel.
  2. Click on Hardware and Sound.
  3. Click on Power Options.
  4. Under Selected Plan or Preferred plan, click on Change plan settings next to the plan that is currently selected.


  5. Click on Change advanced power settings.


  6. A new Power Options window will appear. Find and expand USB Settings in the list.
  7. Expand USB selective suspend setting.
  8. Select Disabled from the drop-down menu. If using a laptop, you will see different settings here for On Battery and Plugged in.


  9. Once you have made your changes, click Apply and OK.
