Solution - Check that you have a drive selected: Go to Menu > Preferences > Activations > Content Download Drive and tap Change

Error: Set Preset failed: Error parsing preset file
Solution - Delete Synth folder: The MPC only requires one Synths folder to download plugin instruments and FX - Either on the MPC's Internal drive or an external drive (SSD, USB drive, SD card etc).
To resolve this, locate the Synths folder on all drives and delete it:
- MPC Internal Drive: Menu > Browser > Places > Internal. Highlight the Synths folder, press the Shift button and tap Delete.
- User Drives: Menu > Browser > Places > [Your Drive Name]. Highlight the Synths folder, press the Shift button and tap Delete.
Once this has been done, perform the following steps in order:
*Note: This external drive will need to be permanently connected to your MPC when activating and installing your plugins. We would suggest using an SD card or user-installed SSD (MPC Live, Live II, X, X SE and Key 61 only)
