In short, the main differences are:
- Massive X is the full version of NI's flagship synth. It offers advanced routing, custom oscillator modes, full modulation flexibility, and a deeper engine to sculpt entirely new worlds of sound. - Massive X Player is the stripped down, free version of Massive X. Navigate, tweak, and modulate your sound with ease, using the Morpher, Animator and Randomize modules. If you already own Massive X, all you have to do is update Massive X in Native Access to version 1.6.0 (or higher) to receive all the features and functions of Massive X Player. Please note that this update only shows in Native Access, if your computer meets the minimum system requirements: macOS 13, macOS 14, macOS 15 (latest updates) and Windows 10 / 11 (latest updates).
If you don't own Massive X, you can download Massive X Player for free by registering our free Komplete Start bundle. Please note that if you already own Komplete Start, you have to register it again on our website in order to add Massive X Player and the Bass Music Essentials presets bundle. The minimum system requirements are macOS 13, macOS 14, macOS 15 (latest updates) and Windows 10 / 11 (latest updates).
