In this guide we will cover the simple steps to remap your MPC's pads.

Drum Track
1. Create a new Drum Track
2. Select the Pencil Icon on your drum track:
3. Select Edit Pad Note Map
4. Use the Pad field to select a pad, or press the pad on your hardware. Use the MIDI Note field to set the desired MIDI note value for the pad:
5. Use the Presets buttons to assign a preset layout to the pads
Chromatic C1 (an ascending chromatic scale, beginning with C1)
Chromatic C-2 (an ascending chromatic scale, beginning with C2)
Classic MPC (the default MIDI note map of classic MPCs).
MIDI Track
1. Create a new MIDI track
2. Enter Pad Perform Mode
3. Select the Chromatic preset. Then use the - octave. This will map the pads from C1 which is the default mapping for many popular DAWs
4. Alternatively, you can also further edit the mappings by using the Custom option, then tap on Edit Pad Note Map
5. Use the Pad field to select a pad, or press the pad on your hardware. Use the MIDI Note field to set the desired MIDI note value for the pad
Tip: To access higher/lower octaves, tap the MIDI Note field
6. Use the Presets buttons to assign a preset layout to the pads
Chromatic C1 (an ascending chromatic scale, beginning with C1)
Chromatic C-2 (an ascending chromatic scale, beginning with C2)
Classic MPC (the default MIDI note map of classic MPCs).
Once you have finished remapping the notes, tap Close
