TRAKTOR supports the following audio formats:
- MP3
- WAV
- AIFF
- Audio CD
- FLAC
- Ogg Vorbis
- AAC (On Windows, AAC playback requires Apple Quicktime to be installed on the computer.)
WAV files in 24-/32-bit resolution downloaded via Bandcamp may not load instantly and require quick supplementary treatment. Simply opening the respective file with similar software to Audacity or GarageBand and then shutting down the application without any further action resolves the issue.
DRM-protected files are not supported. Currently, all iTunes purchases are free of DRM-protection but note that other vendors may apply DRM-protection to their files.
Note: TRAKTOR supports the Beatport / Beatsource Link streaming services. It does not support music streaming services such as Spotify or Apple Music.
