This guide covers how to remove Splice samples from your MPC Standalone unit. You may wish to do this to free up space, or perhaps they have been saved to your internal storage and instead you would like to re-download the samples onto an external drive.
- Access the Browser, from the main menu window.
- Locate the Splice folder - to do this, please select 'places' on the left hand side of the browser, and then either the internal drive (if the Splice content drive is set to internal), or another drive location (if the Splice content drive was set here).
- Select the folder so that it is highlighted.
- To remove the entire Splice library from the MPC, hold shift and then press the delete button at the bottom of the touchscreen. To remove only certain samples, navigate through the folders in the browser to highlight either a Splice sub-folder, or an individual file, and delete this using the same method.
To change the content download location if you were to re-download the Splice library, head to the preferences page, and then the Splice tab. Under 'Sync Files to Drive', tap 'Change', to select a different drive.
