There Was An Error Accessing Splice
Please note that an active internet connection is required to access Splice. If you receive this error, make sure your MPC hardware is connected to a stable network.
To connect via W-Fi or Ethernet, go to:
Menu > Preferences > Wi-Fi
Menu > Preferences > Ethernet
To verify that your MPC is connected, the Enter Serial, Refresh and Log Out buttons will be active:
In rare cases, the firewall on user routers/modems can also block the MPC from communicating with our servers. We suggest restoring your router to its default settings in these scenarios, whilst consulting the manufacturer / Internet Service Provider (ISP) of your Modem/Router.
Please use the following articles to review your router settings:

Problems Syncing or Missing Splice Folders
Check for the Splice folder on the Internal Drive via Places > Internal. If there is a Splice folder there, please delete it by pressing the Shift button and Tap Delete (on screen)
We also recommend doing the same on any other drive you have connected to the MPC.
Check Places > [Your Drive Name]. If there is a Splice folder there, please delete it by pressing the Shift button and Tap Delete (on screen)
After this, go to Browser > Content > Splice and tap the Splice icon:

The MPC will ask you to configure the Splice drive.

Tap Set Up Now and select a drive by tapping Change

Once done, tap on Sync Now. Your Splice files should then be available on your drive, and your samples will be organized in categorized folders
Download Directory Cannot Be Found
You will receive this message if you have not selected a Content Download Drive or if you have reset your MPC's preferences via: Menu > Preferences > Info at any point.
The Content Download Drive is the location that your plugin instruments, FX and Splice content is downloaded to. On default, this will be the MPC's Internal drive (Internal)
We would advise changing this location to a removable drive, such as a SD card, USB/Hard drive or user-installed SSD for storage management purposes.
To stop this error message:
- Go to Menu > Preferences > Splice
- Tap Change
- Select a drive.
