TRAKTOR DJ iOS Audio Interface Compatibility

Note: This article provides information on the compatibility of TRAKTOR DJ 1.

TRAKTOR DJ works with Apple's Core Audio framework on iOS devices to stream audio to compatible audio interfaces.

In principle, you can use any class-compliant audio device with TRAKTOR DJ. Please refer to the manufacturer of your device for more information regarding iOS compatibility.

Note: Since we have not tested all of the available devices, we cannot guarantee the compatibility of any particular audio device with the iOS device and TRAKTOR DJ except the interfaces from our product range that have been tested and approved (see 'Fully Supported NI Audio Interfaces" below). Also make sure that you are using the latest firmware for your NI device. 

Fully Supported NI Audio Interfaces

The following NI audio interfaces / controllers are compatible with iOS and are fully supported for their use as surface controllers in TRAKTOR DJ. Find more information in the product page of the corresponding device.

*The TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 MK2 can only control TRAKTOR DJ's volume and cue mix

Class-Compliant NI Audio Interfaces

The following NI audio interfaces are class-compliant and are therefore able to stream audio through separate outputs in TRAKTOR DJ. Their use is restricted to iPad as these devices will not work on an iPhone.

Note: All class-compliant devices require iOS 6.0 or higher.

* Since the KOMPLETE AUDIO 6 does not provide an external power supply, the use of a self-powered USB hub is required.

Non-Compatible Legacy Audio Interfaces

The following NI legacy audio interfaces use a proprietary driver to communicate with the host computer and are not class-compliant. You cannot use these interfaces with TRAKTOR DJ on iOS devices.
